Capitol Fire Trucks of Wash DC is off and running this spring. We have had numerous party's in Capitol Hill, Georgetown, Rockville, Silver Spring, Bethesda, Bowie and Ellicott City. We start off with a brief fire safety speech learning about smoke detectors, 911 and that special meeting place all families should have.
The kids try on real fire helmets, coats, gloves and face pieces. The birthday boy is the first to sit in the drivers seat of our fire engine and man the wheel. Next they all take a tour of the fire engine learning about axes, fire hose and ladders. All the kids work well together stretching our fire hose to the front door as if they are ready to put a real fire out. Now that all the kids are geared up and ready, it's time to flow some water.
