Santa Claus Maryland

Capitol Fire Trucks of Maryland would like to thank all for allowing us to partake in so many great Santa Claus Visits throughout DC and MD.  Santa was able to visit various neighborhoods meeting so many excited kids to see him.  Capitol Fire Trucks decorated fire engine was able to drive Santa Claus with all the Christmas lights and decorations making so many kids dreams come true.  Meeting Santa Claus while the parents take many of pictures to remember such a great moment.  We look forward to next year Christmas and hopes to have Santa Claus visit even more kids than last. 

Santa Claus Visit MD

Capitol Fire Trucks of Maryland would like to thank the community of Jason's Landing located in Severn MD.  They allowed our fire engine with all the Christmas decorations and Santa on top to visit each and every street in there neighborhood.  Afterward Capitol Fire Trucks parked the engine at there community center where Santa came down and took pictures with all the kids.  Each child was thrilled to personally meet Santa Claus and take a picture with him.. Santa listened to all the kids and there wishes for what gifts they would like to receive this year.  Capitol Fire Trucks fire engine was fully decorated with so many great Christmas decorations for all to enjoy.  The sound of Christmas music as we drove by each home with Santa waving to so many.  Capitol Fire Trucks of MD would like to thank there community and look forward to keeping this tradition each year for all there residents

 

Wash DC Birthday Party

This weekend Capitol Fire Trucks will be hosting 2 kids birthday parties in Wash DC.  The weather looks good for all the kids to have fun on our fire engine.  Each child will learn about fire safety and what it takes to become a real fireman as they get older.  Capitol Fire Trucks will provide for each child a real fire coat, fire gloves, fire helmet and a facepiece for all to try on.  Each child will then explore our 1989 Seagrave fire engine with all the fire equipment consisting of, fire hoses, axes, breathing apparatus and ladders. Then it's time for the kids to spray some water with our real fire extinguisher's.  Lastly put your seat belts on as the birthday child rides up front with all the lights and sirens as we take a drive through the neighborhood. Capitol Fire Trucks of MD is very honored and appreciative to those that allow us to host so many birthday parties in the Maryland DC Virginia area and make dreams come true for the kids.

Capitol Fire Trucks for the month of December will be visiting various neighborhoods throughout the Washington DC MD VA area.  We look forward visiting so many kids and putting smiling faces as Santa drives through.  Each visit with Santa Claus includes time for picture taking, Christmas lights,  music, candy canes and more.  Capitol Fire Trucks is very proud and appreciative for allowing us to make your Christmas a special one this Holiday Season. Not only do the kids get excited to Santa, but it's fun for all ages and families.  To see so many lined up on the side of the street to see Capitol Fire Trucks fire engine drive by with all the lights and decorations.  Capitol Fire Trucks is also very proud to take part with those kids that are less fortunate.  That's the real meaning of  Christmas, giving back to the DC MD VA area and putting smiles on so many kids face.  See you out there Santa is Coming to your neighborhood

Capitol Fire Truck Rentals of MD hosted 2 kids birthday parties in Arlington and Alexandria Virginia this past weekend.  The kids enjoyed dressing in the firefighters gear, helmets and gloves.  The birthday child was the first to sit in the driver's seat and take control of the engine as if he were really driving to an emergency.  Next was a brief fire safety talk where Capitol Fire Trucks expressed the importance of

Capitol Fire Trucks  brought out the water fire extinguishers, each child got a chance to have some fun and spray some water. Lastly Capitol Fire Trucks loaded up all the kids and took them for a short ride through the neighborhood with all the lights and sirens blaring. With the Christmas Holiday season approaching here are a few safety tips from Capitol Fire Trucks of Maryland.  Roughly 250 homes catch fire due to Christmas trees each year, reports the National Fire Protection Agency.  Christmas trees, if dried out can be very flammable and pose a great threat if not cared for properly.  When selecting a Christmas tree ensure the color is a bright green, needles are not falling from the tree itself and not brown in color.   It is very easy for kids to accidentally knock over your Christmas tree stand, therefore ensure the tree is securely mounted and anchored properly in the stand.  You must ensure your Christmas tree stand is filled with water and check daily to ensure it does not become dry.  During the Holiday season fires account for roughly 15 million dollars’ worth of damage, Capitol Fire Trucks wants to ensure your holiday is a safe and memorable one for all the right reasons.

The National Fire Protection Agency reports 50,000 thousand fires occur each year during Christmas due to electrical issues.  When decorating your Christmas tree here are a few fire safety tips  

·         Only use indoor lights for indoor and outdoor lights for outdoor

·         Ensure each set of lights has been independently tested and approved

·         Never attach more than 4 sets of lights together

·         Always check each set of lights and electrical cords for cracked bulbs, bare wires and loose connections

·         Lastly do not leave the house with lights illuminated on the Christmas tree
