Kids Fire Safety Maryland

Maryland Kids Fire Safety Training

Maryland Fire Safety Provided By Capitol Fire Truck Rental

Maryland Fire Safety For Kids
Maryland Capitol Fire Truck Rentals provides Fire Safety Education programs throughout Maryland and the Washington DC Metro Area. The program targets age groups ranging from 3 through 6 years of age . Our goal of the Fire Safety Education Program is to allow the kids to have fun hands on experience while learning, becoming more comfortable around fireman and gain a better understanding of not being afraid of firefighter's as they are here to help you. The program will teach the kids about
  • National 911 Calling System
  • The importance of knowing your Home Address
  • The Use of Smoke Detectors
  • A Special Meeting Place
  • Stop Drop and Roll
Capitol Fire Truck Rentals then provides a 30 minute classroom presentation teaching fire safety, trying on kid size fire gear consisting of, fire helmet, fire coat, fire gloves, a fire hood and lastly a firefigher's face piece. This allows the kids a real hands on approach and to gain a better understanding as to why firefighter's must wear all this heavy gear and look scary at times. Next, it's time to explore the fire engine where they will become the driver of Capitol Fire Trucks 1989 Seagrave fire engine. Getting a hands on feel as to what it's like to drive a real fire engine to a 911 emergency call, the smile on the kids faces's in unforgettable. The kids love to explore all the riding positions the engine has to offer. Lastly it's time to have some fun and spray some water. Children will learn how to use and aim a real fire extinguisher and spray water as if they were putting out a real fire. Once completed and we have graduated all the JR. Fireman, they all receive there official fire helmet to take home.
We all know how amazing kids of all ages can be, even in life threatening situations. Give them the tools necessary by allowing Capitol Fire Trucks the opportunity to teach them about fire safety and possibly help save a life.
